As members of a local concierge group, we are privileged to be invited each month to a Cape Cod venue where we can experience what is on offer and tell our guests about it later.
This week we went to the Borsari Gallery & Tea Rooms in Dennis village, less than 10 minutes from our inn. What a wonderful building, an old barn built with the timbers of a 19th century Cape Cod hotel which was destroyed in a storm. The artwork on display is superb, very evocative and diverse, and the icing on the cake is that you can treat yourself to a wonderful, traditional afternoon tea, including Devon clotted cream and old fashioned cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off.
The masterminds behind this gallery/tea-room, Kathy & Bob Borsari, are charming, welcoming and whole-heartedly dedicated to the project in hand. The barn has been lovingly restored to create a relaxing and warm atmosphere where you can easily while away a couple of hours, chatting, enjoying the ambience, and imagining a place in your home for your favourite piece of art.
If you ever find yourself in the area, you would be very well advised to visit this wonderful gallery - but please make sure you have room for a spot of tea!

A Spring Fling to Remember at our Luxury Inn At Cape Cod
Interesting stuff! I traveled to England this summer and had some afternoon tea and scones, and it was absolutely delicious I figured I’d try make my own last week. I might have broken a few rules maybe – I found a ton of random scone recipes here and made 6 different kinds! My friends were so happy when I brought them round for tea and scones, complete with real whipped cream. Great fun!
