Stroll to dinner
To be able to walk from the inn to three fine restaurants is such a bonus when you choose a vacation base. You will probably be out most of the day exploring Cape Cod, so when you return you may not feel like another drive. Thankfully that’s okay, because these three restaurant gems are on your doorstep! For outstanding dining further afield (not very far, in some cases) please go to the Restaurants section of the DISCOVER page. There are many more wonderful places that we don’t want you to miss!
The Old Yarmouth Inn
The oldest inn on Cape Cod, dating back to 1696, has for many years served creative, delicious and varied New England dishes to tempt and satisfy everyone who dines there. There are always daily seafood specials including their wonderful baked stuffed lobster. It is a personal favourite, and we ourselves stroll over for dinner as often as we can. Too hard to resist, many of our guests dine here every evening of their stay!
Inaho
Serious aficionados of Japanese cuisine will take great delight in dining here, its authentic atmosphere and offerings are the best around – in fact many diners travel from Boston just for dinner, that’s some testament! The restaurant has been in the same hands for many years, and the owner is also the sushi chef, a craftsman indeed!
Grill 43
Anyone who is already a fan, like us, of Rock Harbor Grill in Orleans, will need no introduction to this exciting addition to our very local dining options. If the glowing feedback from our many guests who dined at this its sister restaurant, during their first season, is anything to go by, then unsurprisingly we are not alone in our appreciation of the unique casual ambience and style of the cuisine!
