A stay of one night requires full payment at time of booking. Longer stays require a deposit of one night at time of booking with the balance payable 21 days before arrival (or 2 months before arrival if booking was made more than 6 months prior to arrival date). During peak season and on holiday weekends there is a 2 or 3 night minimum stay requirement. One night stays are subject to a $30 supplement. All reservations are uniquely for the guests who make the booking and are therefore non-transferrable to others. Our unique price-beater guarantee promises that if you see the same room for the same dates ANYWHERE on-line for less you should advise us WITHIN 24 HOURS of making your reservation in order to receive the lower rate you saw, LESS $5 per night. Once we have verified the lower rate we will adjust your rate accordingly. The 24-hour policy will be strictly adhered to and no exceptions will be made beyond the 24-hour time frame.


Cancellations or amendments to a reservation more than 21 days before arrival are subject to a cancellation fee for each room of either $50 or 10% of the total reservation, whichever is greater, with the balance of your deposit or payment being refunded. Refunds for cancellations or amendments made within 21 days of arrival are subject to us being able to re-let the room/s and are subject to the above cancellation fee. If the room is re-let at a last-minute reduced rate the refund will reflect that reduction. Please note that whilst every effort is made to re-let rooms, no guarantee can be given that we will be successful, in which case there will be no refund. We highly recommend guests purchase travel insurance in case of last-minute cancellations due to, for example, illness, force majeures such as extreme weather conditions, or acts of terrorism. Always check the policy fine print for coverage exclusions.

Check-in/check-out times:

Check-in is between 3 and 6 pm, with self check-in for arrivals after 6 pm.

Check-out is by 11 am.


In consideration of all our guests, we are unable to accommodate infants or children under 14.


We are not able to accept pets in the inn, nor may they be left in guest’s vehicles overnight.


By Massachusetts law the entire property in a no-smoking area, which includes all decks and balconies. Guests may smoke in the grounds at least 30 feet away from the building. Failure to comply will result in a guest being asked to leave the premises immediately.

Other Policies:

Any guest causing damage to the property will be responsible for its repair or replacement.

The Inn At Cape Cod is privately owned, and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests, or for loss of money, jewellery, valuables or any item belonging to a guest.

Lodging Taxes are currently 11.7% and are not included in quoted room rates. Policies, rates and taxes may be subject to change without notice.
